"Outstanding value for this hotel. Spotlessly clean, and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. Quiet, convenient to shopping, and not far from LGW we are SO GLAD to have found this property. Meals in the hotel bar were excellent and decent portions. Unreservedly recommend."

"Would definitely recommend! Facilities are great especially the gym, one of the best i’ve seen. Only thing is Steam room was very weak. Christmas buffet had a good selection and breakfast was nice. "

"Booked this for my parents’ anniversary, they loved it and said staff were nice. Request was also actioned which was amazing. Only con was they only offer indian food for dinner, so my mom was not able to eat anything and she does not like it, would be nice to have a more versatile selection of different cuisines."

"Excellent dog friendly hotel. The hotel is next to a busy road so highly recommend booking a lakeside room which are much quieter, large and have a good view. Whilst the hotel is quite tired, for the price we paid and service we received, it represents good value. Meals in the bar well priced too. "

"Staff were attentive and polite. Room was a bit too hot for sleeping. Breakfast was excellent quality but the high end restaurant was expensive for the quality of food. Also only had 3 options for children which was not great. Swimming area was lovely. "

"An elegant period building in a convenient location for the occasion. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice at the bar. As expected from a period property, the rooms are a little dated and not huge, but overall good offering good value for money"

"Room was good. Aircon kept it at an acceptable temp (hotel was otherwise on the warm side). Sadly the food let it down. Both of the breakfasts I had were cold. The evening meal (function meal) was also cold. Staff were generally very good, but were let down by breakfast staff on the second day - had to ask twice for poached eggs. A lovely traditional hotel, let down by things which should be very easy to fix. I would return. "
