"we had a wonderful stay. Accommodation was lovely and clean. Staff were very accommodating . had a delicious evening meal. would recommend staying here to family and friends."

"Points for the hotel, but not for Orbitz: I booked a single basic room without noticing that somewhere at the bottom, it says in small font that it is a room without a bathroom. I don't know who expects rooms without bathrooms at a "hotel," not a "student hostel." I didn't and I didn't read the small print. Luckily, there was a room with a bathroom available, and I was relocated at extra fee, but what if it wasn't available? This was the last hotel with rooms available in the town. I wouldn't...

"Great room. Great facilities and very friendly staff, good food too!"

"Meisser Lodge was great. Guarda is a fantastic village and a great base for the Lower Engadine. We had a balcony, which we really enjoyed. The facilities and breakfast were great. And we have a special thank you to Marianne who helped retrieve a book from a roof (accidentally dropped from our lovely balcony). Finally, in comparison with other places where we stayed, the Meisser Lodge is very reasonably priced for what you get."
