"The room we booked had no view so we upgraded to a suite that was amazing. The view from the balcony made our stay that much better. The staff was great and helped with recommendations and anything else we needed. The only downside to the vacation was the prices. The cost for food there was stateside without the level of quality. Otherwise the water, and beach were amazing, so was the hotel and we would 100% recommend Ixchel for your stay."

"Property was very clean. Staff was really helpful and informative, but not all of them breakfast could improve however, I enjoyed myself the beach view. It could be better. I was assuming this was a long stretch way I can take long walks at the beach, but the beach was just right there and no amount of space for walking just a quick little swim and back to the cabana. It’s really nice and cozy. Everything is accessible the steak I ordered was just too fatty not enough meat just a lot of fat overall it’s a I’ll give it a four out of five for the whole experience. My last day was ruined by the weather. I’m sure it could’ve been a five or five if the weather was kind."

"Everything about this property was lovely! From the moment we got there the staff was very friendly. Day two we noticed AC was not cooling down very well, it was fixed right away. They helped us get a golf cart for a day. They arranged for our taxi to pick us up to take us to the ferry on departure day. The pool was perfect after a beach day! It overlooked the ocean and was just beautiful. There's an outdoor pool bar right near the main pool. There are three pools in total. The rooms were clean and simple. Had everything you needed. Shower was hot! The entire hotel was as pictured and within walking distance to everything you need! Playa Norte was a short 5 minute walk. We will definitely return and would highly recommend"
