"This was a great place to stay for my 10 days in Venice. The location is quiet but still in the ‘thick of things’. A great local bar has opened up close by. Cafes, bistros, a supermarket, shops - all close by. I would have liked a folder that gave me a few hints for the area and good places to go - but otherwise it was fantastic!"

"Professionally managed, central location. We really enjoyed our stay here. Transit times to most of the local highlights was very short. Vaporreto stop was really close by. "

"Loved this property the area,close to restaurants shops bars,easy 10 minutes walk to st Marks square. Easy jetty drop off and pick up 100m from hotel. It exceeded our expectations and would definitely stay again. Also we were treat very well at the bar with complimentary crisps and pastries. Very friendly staff."

Very convenient as long as the water busses run.

"This hotel seemed to be brand new. Very clean and nice. It was easy to take a water bus from the hotel to the main area of Venice, or to Murano or Burano. But one night the water busses stopped running early, and we had to go all the way to the train station and then get a cab. So make sure you know the water bus schedule. The breakfast in the morning was good, too. "

"I would definitely recommend this hotel — it was spotless, with no unpleasant smells at all. The staff were incredibly friendly, check-in was quick and easy, and the location is excellent — close to most of the key places you’ll want to visit. It also felt very safe, which we really appreciated. Thank you for the complimentary upgrade; it truly made our stay in Venice even more special. The breakfast was great too. A wonderful experience all around!"

Hotel Olimpia Venice, BW Signature Collection

"This was an amazing hotel!! Bryan checked us in and gave us a lot of helpful information and answered our many questions. Irmar took our bags up to our room and later ran out to help us carry them up the steps and over the bridge (when we were leaving). The breakfast staff (and every staff member we encountered) were amazing! The decor in the hotel was very unique and all areas of the hotel were very clean. I highly recommend the awesome breakfast buffet and the beautiful garden patio where you can eat. Lastly, you can’t beat the location. It was in a nice safe area near restaurants and cafes. I hope to go back some day and stay at the Olympia again! This hotel is one of my favorites!!"
