Copthorne Hotel Newcastle

10/10 Excellent
"Went for a standard room. Room was huge, bed was really comfy and was given a river side view. Fantastic value. Not as “trendy” as some of the other hotels in the area but it is still very nice and you what you get for your money is great. Parking at the hotel too which is rare in a city centre. Only £15 for 24 hours."

"Friendly reception (thanks Daniel). The hotel is adjacent to the station and therefore ideal if arriving by train. It’s a little bit dated and a bit of a warren but the room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was roomy too."

"Nice room. Good breakfast. Food in bar in evening also good and reasonably priced. Very big queue to check in due to coach parties arriving. No strategy for dealing with customers not on the coach and we had to queue for 15 minutes with no apology. Have to pay for pool and towels."
