"A really good place for me to stay. A two night visit to see friends. I did meet the owners, and they we very helpful. I liked the decoration and facilities I had in my room, the Balcony Room, which not surprisingly has an outdoor balcony! A comfortable bed. Best of all, was the freshly baked bread, yummy! Its close to 2 pubs, I actually only went into one, which had great beer, did meals and had a friendly welcome. I cn't say about the other one, only because I didn't have the chance to go in. If you like sea walks along the promenade, this guest house is perfect."

"The hotel was delightful. It was exactly as I had seen it the photographs on the site. You wouldn't know it was there if you had no prior instruction. The area is busy but the hotel is relaxed. They have retained the original features yet modernised the interior. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was good. I felt as if I was in a top quality hotel. The host was so welcoming and explained about nearby parking which was free. A fabulous hotel."

"All good: welcoming with friendly team. Easy parking and checkin. A bit disappointed by buffet breakfast so by 0845 all dry and no chance; just some hard bacon. Maybe leave smaller pieces in trays and check more regularly. Saved by some fresh fried eggs so nice and hot. Maybe re-think the presentation for slightly of those who want a later meal? Not a fan of buffet (under the lamp!) meals but understand the reason for it. Thank you."
