As a family of four, we loved our 3 night stay at Silk Sense Resort. Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable, with excellent beds and pillows. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We visited the spa daily for amazing massages, which we highly recommend. The complimentary shuttle service to and from Hoi An Old Town was very convenient. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would definitely recommend staying at the Silk Sense resort.

This is a wonderful oasis a bit outside of Hoi An. Don't mind the distance to the city centre though, as the hotel has a shuttle service driving quite frequently back and forth. They have a great selection of activities and facilities to use.

We had such a great stay at silk sense, the hospitality was amazing, staff went out of there way to learn our names and help us with anything they could. Nothing was too much trouble! Particular shout outs to Hung and Ly who were just so lovely and made our stay extra special. The pool was big and great for all the family. So glad we stayed a little way out of town with the kids, free shuttle buses were plentiful. Breakfast was amazing. Family room was spacious with privacy for Mum and Dad, beds were super comfy

This was a clean hotel with many amenities. They went above and beyond including providing a small fruit basket upon arrival, complimentary water and snacks as well as towels were replenished daily. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool was huge. The breakfast buffet included a wide variety of food as well as made to order coffee. We loved our daily breakfast while sitting outside and enjoying the view. The only negatives were the restaurant food was our least favorite we had during our week long trip. The restaurant and salon were also extremely overpriced compared to all of the other restaurants and spas within walking distance. You can get your nails done outside of the resort for 1/3 of the price. The shuttle was also a bit disappointing. It doesn’t run all day long to the beach or Hoi An and you also have to schedule it at least 1 hour in advance. I would prefer that the shuttle just run back and forth all day and you hop on when you’re ready. It was a great resort and I would consider staying again if I go back to Vietnam!

We had a fabulous time in Vietnam but Hoi An was definitely the highlight. We were concerned that we should have stayed in town but with Grab taxis costing 5 GBP we realised we made an excellent choice. Lounged by the pool, visited their beach resort, had great breakfasts and used the free shuttle to the fullest extent. After 4 days we said a tearful goodbye to the wonderful receptionist/staff member, Ly who has one of the loveliest smiles! Thoroughly recommend the Silk Sense for all of the above reasons.

One of the best possible hotel stays I've had. Staff consistently went above and beyond to deliver excellent service and hospitality. Location is perfect, between river and beach away from the noise of town. Easy transport options with shuttle bus, or taxis/grab. Breakfast was always an abundance and room was always well stocked with tea, coffee, snacks and water. Excellent amenities, cleanliness, and couldn't recommend more.

We had a wonderful stay at Silk Sense which is a beautiful resort with friendly staff, and a sustainable philosophy as well. Our room 409 was spacious and clean, with a balcony view of the river. My partner is gluten free and vegetarian, and initially we had an issue with their menu which showed a dish as being gluten free but it wasn't. After flagging this with management, they rectified it the next day by ensuring there were gf breakfast options throughout our stay, including gf bread and treats. The location is peaceful, 15 minutes away from the chaos of Hoi An old town. Other features: - large pool with pool-side service - daily complimentary purified bottled water - gluten free specific menu - free shuttle bus into Hoi An old town and nearby beach - free bicicyle use and helmet - free activites such as pottery A special mention: Thuy the manager was very helpful and friendly, she provided advice about activites as well as helped with the gluten free menu.

Outstanding service from spa reception bar and restaurant staff. We had an issue with the affiliated travel operator for snorkelling and scuba diving experience (misleading and terrible overall) and the front staff and assistant manager took time to listen to our feedback, understand the issue and help us provide a solution. Caring and personalised service altogether!

Lovely staff and lovely hotel. 15 minute taxi out of Old Town, and Grabs are easy to get. Shower over bath was difficult to use but we made do. Hotel is very eco friendly. The snacks they provide are a nice touch. Lots of activities provided by the hotel. Breakfast was okay - eggs made to order and coffee were great. Rooms immaculately clean. Would be a lovely place to enjoy the pool, but we came in the wrong season.

This a perfect place to stay when visiting Hoi An. the service was attentive, friendly and flexible. The location is quiet and peaceful. The pool was a delight to spend time in and around. athe restaurant was superb, professionally run and offered a diverse range of delicious vietnamese and non vietnamese meals. The breakfast included lots of different delights, with a good level of day to day variety. The shuttle to the old town made accessing the main attractions of Hoi An and all the restaurants easy. But one could always take a taxi, grab or even rent a scooter (highly recommended for those that have the coordination and courage). Would recommend this resort highly.

We stayed at Silk sense for a week with our 20-month-old. The setting is quiet and pleasant, and staff were consistently kind and helpful. However, safety and problem-solving fell short for a 5-star hotel. On arrival we found our room had a raised platform and stairs—information not disclosed at booking and unsuitable with a toddler. After the first night the baby cot broke, waking our daughter; we later saw four exposed, rusty screws. The replacement arrived without a mattress (a folded comforter was used), and when we asked again we were told no proper cot was available. The hotel then bought a newborn cot with sides only ~50 cm high—easy to climb out of—especially risky with stairs in the room. We changed to a room without stairs, but it was a clear downgrade from what we booked. At checkout, no goodwill gesture was offered until we asked; we received ~€10 off consumables and an airport transfer that was already included via Expedia. Disappointing overall.
