"We loved our stay here, we had a junior suit on the corner, the view was beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Although some parts of the room were showing a bit of age it was very clean. Staff were mostly very friendly although we did come across one waiter and bar staff who were slightly rude. The rest of the staff made up for this massively. The pool is nice and always had plenty of beds available. Although it was cold it was appreciated in the heat. The pool entertainment was always fun. The spa is lovely we were lucky to get a free entry with the tour and really enjoyed the pools. Food was good, we enjoyed the different themed nights, im a fussy eater and always found something to eat. Entertainment was a lot of fun however we did notice the different performers played the same songs, we guessed they are trying to appeal to an older audience. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would come again. "

"Clean and spacious hotel. Excellent beds and shower. Nice entertainment music. Nice pools. Good buffet. The only thing I didn't like is the fact we have to pay for water at the buffet. But this is the case with most Spanish hotels I think."

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth, champagne on the terrace, and thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly at home. Every member of the team was kind, professional and truly passionate about what they do — special thanks to Isabelle, Carmen and Gustavo, who went above and beyond throughout our visit. The resort itself is breathtaking. From palm-lined gardens to ocean views, every space feels calm and beautifully designed. Our accessible room was both elegant and practical, with seamless access throughout and a private balcony that offered the most stunning views of the sea. It was wonderful to enjoy room service and unwind in comfort without a single compromise on style. Dining was outstanding — especially the seafood restaurant, where we enjoyed tender baby squid, the best paella we’ve ever tasted, and local wine that complemented it perfectly. The lobby bar’s cocktails and an impromptu rum masterclass were unexpected highlights. The spa was a true sanctuary. The therapists were lovely, and the range of treatments and facilities — from saunas and sensory showers to yoga on the terrace — created the perfect setting for relaxation. Accessibility was considered throughout, and I found using the facilities simple and safe. The Ritz Carlton Abama is a shining example of how luxury and accessibility can exist side by side.
