"Paid via hotels.com when booking yet was questioned multiple times about outstanding balance. Had 5 seperate phone calls, and was even interrupted in my room for payment. I showed proof it was paid several times and still they persist. "

"Nice clean and comfortable room but it overlooked the road by the main entrance and I was disturbed early morning by road noise. Smokers occasionally smoke at the hotel entrance waft smoke as you walk in or out. "

"Very friendly accommodating staff. Spa was clean and very relaxing. Shuttle to salcombe town was excellent and made day trips very easy "

"The hotel was lovely, deco a little tired in places but very clean. Staff very attentive. Right on sea front had lovely room overlooking the sea. About 20 minute walk from shops. "

"After a long day of travelling i found the Courtyard to be the best of hotels to rest up and have a meal. The staff were great and so polite. Room quality was nice and spacious. High quality shower room. **Note to all. Remember to switch the power on just inside your room door. The taps are electric and won't work without the power on. That small detail caught me out !!! But other than that i would highly recommend this hotel for a stay. I will be staying there again. "
