"This was a fun property to stay at. It was clean and felt safe and was easy to get to. There are directions for the lock next to the door, which I didn’t see at first but were helpful once I found them. There were a few different heaters which were needed to get the space warm. The water was hot once I let it run for a minute. I would stay here again."

"We stayed here years ago when it was quite dated, and now it’s been recently renovated. Great updates, our room was modern and very clean. Wonderful oceanfront room with a very comfortable bed. There is a sign at the front desk saying the property is still undergoing renovations but we didn’t see any signs of construction. Maybe check that you’re staying in a renovated room. Great hotel, great location that’s easily walkable into the main drag of town and ferry terminal. We plan to stay there...

"This lodge is such a relic from the past which adds to the serene landscape right out your room window. Unbelievable older retro rooms in the best condition than I could imagine, being the age of the motel and PNW moisture. It’s like stepping back in time and leaving the busy world in which we live in hundreds of years away. I will definitely return again for future visits and recommend this wonderful lodge to many others. Prime location for Olympic NP beaches, just a few steps to nature...

"It was good. You get what you pay for. The beds are rock hard. The place smells musty. That might be a problem at all the hotels tho because it’s a very wet environment. Staff was nice, and they leave you alone. We stayed two nights. I would recommend just staying one. Unless you like hard beds. It’s a good stop for a cheap stay. We are satisfied customers. "
