Hotels with kitchenette in Maldives

Taking this opportunity to thank all the staff at Dusit Thani for making our stay more than memorable! Special thanks to Anil (the best housekeeper ever! and he braved the storm to make sure our sun brolly is secured for safety reasons), Mafroo, Adeep, AX (a very professional skipper! Went 1st catsailing experience with him n he made us feel safe!) Highly recommended for families and couples! An Eco-friendly place! Will definitely be back!

From the reception at the seaplane lounge to checking in and leaving Male after our 5 day trip, the service rendered by the staff was nothing short of amazing. I was surprised as I've stayed at other westin hotels and the service in their maldivian property really upped the ante. The resort itself, although it opened for only a month, had surprisingly almost no teething issues I could complain about and I was expecting some, apart from the quality of the breakfast which was hit or miss but...

Got off on the wrong foot as the meet up guy wasn't at the arranged place. Took us 10mins to find him and was brought to wait outside coffee outlet while he get 2 more guests inside. The boat ride and check in was alright. They could have seated us according to rooms on the buggy to avoid having us to get on and off in the heavy rain. They have a good spread for their buffet meals but the meat is mostly overcooked and tough. The cocktails and mock tails were good. Just Grill is worth Waiting...

We stayed in room 401 which is a family water villa. It is the nearest villa to land but still gives a great view of the open sea. We enjoyed our stay greatly and also the scuba trips. We are however disappointed with the food options. The good one is actually the Atoll Market due to the wide variety of food choices and the freshness. Outstanding to fantastic staffs attending to us during our stay.

The hotel is small. It got everything that we need. It’s clean with friendly and hospitable staff. The complimentary airport transfer was seamless. We got a free upgrade to a room with a kitchenette, living area which has a single bed and a separate room with a queen size bed. The breakfast was adequate and it fills up the stomach. Reception arranged with the next resort that we are heading to and arranged our complimentary transfer back to the airport. Would I book this hotel again...
