Luxury Hotels in New Zealand

Excellent staying experience with very warm owners, Peter and Joyce. Though it is not cheap, it is worth every cent paid. Remarkable view from the room and spacious living rooms for 10 people.

Beautiful and comfortable accommodation, property and staff were excellent, customer service was top notch. The booking site was disappointing though, as they didn’t send the pin to the lock box for the key ahead of arrival - if you book via this platform, please ensure they send you the virtual check in at least the day before your arrival, else book direct. We had to dial the emergency number and fortunately the staff came to our rescue very quickly. Kudos and thank you to the vicarage team!

The room was kept in pristine condition by Julie, the housekeeper. Excellent job! Had a good and comfortable stay. Thanks.

Loved this place. Hotel staff went above and beyond and were super friendly. Short walk to town and really well appointed

Spacious and beautifully appointed rooms and living/dining areas in an elegant East meets West style. Easy access to riverside walks a real bonus. Owners Jason and Rebecca were fantastic hosts, reaching out to us before our arrival for dinner arrangements and greeting us with welcome drinks in the serene English style garden. We had delicious hot breakfasts and beautifully presented multi course dinners in the lodge by private chef/host/tour adviser Anthony - easy decision to eat in every night...

It's location makes it a great base to explore the Queenstown area. Lying just outside Arrowtown means easy access/choices for dinner. But dining options within the resort grounds are already very good. A short a scenic drive along Lake Hayes from Queenstown means we could still enjoy the surrounding lakes, though not from our room :). Our favorite accommodation for our 12 day South Island self drive trip. Beautiful, well maintained and landscaped grounds. Unreservedly a world class resort....

Amazing views and stay. The staffs made it awesome too especially lucas and shruti. The only disappointment was we stayed for 6 nights at the hotel paid quite a lot. Requested for a late check out but was declined.

This is a fabulous resort in a beautiful, peaceful vineyard setting. The room was so lovely and offered everything we needed, including a wonderful gas fire for a cold winter’s night. The spa bath was heavenly (as was the heated floor in the bathroom) and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the calm, natural colours and the view over the lake and farmland. Breakfast was delicious! A big thank you to the friendly, helpful, professional staff, all of whom contributed to our enjoyment of our...

Amazing building and story, definitely worth experiencing even if you’ve been to Glenorchy before.
