Windsor and Maidenhead Holiday Rentals

"Good alternative to staying at Heathrow if you have a flight the next day. Windsor has plenty of shops, restaurants and walks, making it ideal for short stays. The hotel is opposite Windsor Castle, so we got a great view of the daily parade. The hotel itself is undergoing an external refurbishment, but the rooms are done to a high standard. We also had Afternoon Tea in The Leaf, which was pleasant, but the quality of sandwiches were not great. The Coronation Chicken/Vegetarian wraps were nice, but there was very little filling and taste in the other varieties."

"Our stay at the hotel was wonderful, the gentleman on reception was so kind and helpful as we had arrive early. The room had a window which you could open which was great, and beds were really comfortable. The room was supper clean one of the best clean rooms we had stayed in. The breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice. The lady called Jo was lovely and she checked all at breakfast and even checked cups for tea/coffee stains and sent them back to get washed. Super person and always had a smile and chat. xx"

"A beautiful, ancient inn in a peaceful, lovely little village. The stairs were a bit uneven but what do you expect from a pub built in 1135? And don't miss the dinner. There is some master chef back there in the kitchen and he or she works wonders. "
