"Hotel was nice. Room was clean although I smelled a bit of a musky smell when we entered. Included breakfast was good. We didn’t get to experience the happy hour though. Lobby was very inviting. Overall, great stay. "

"I went to a concert and wanted to be as close as possible to get back and forth from property to venue. While it wasn't walking distance, there were other options, and it was very cheap to take a Lyft. The staff at this property went above and beyond! The two young ladies in particular were Antoinette and Svea. From the delicious breakfast to the quiet wade in the pool, everything was just great. It was really quiet, even being next to the rail line. It was a little busy during the early morning but quiet otherwise. I will definitely stay at the property again in the future."

"It was our first stay here, and my husband and I really enjoyed it. The surroundings were very quiet and family-friendly, and the staff at the front desk were extremely friendly. The only downside was that the hallways on the third floor, where we stayed, had a strange smell. However, aside from that, we would definitely return for another stay."

"The Heywood Hotel is located in close proximity to almost everything. There are so many wonderful restaurants nearby along East Cesar Chavez Street and East 6th Street. We also enjoyed shopping and eating on South Congress. The staff was very helpful to us. It was nice to be able to park and the walk to your room is a very short distance. We also took the Austin City Limits theatre tour which was very enjoyable. We chose the Heywood mainly for its close proximity of the Malin meeting complex. "
