"The Heywood Hotel is located in close proximity to almost everything. There are so many wonderful restaurants nearby along East Cesar Chavez Street and East 6th Street. We also enjoyed shopping and eating on South Congress. The staff was very helpful to us. It was nice to be able to park and the walk to your room is a very short distance. We also took the Austin City Limits theatre tour which was very enjoyable. We chose the Heywood mainly for its close proximity of the Malin meeting...

On top of all that it’s just a few minutes walk to get to all the live music venues and right around the corner from the Driskill hotel- lovely for a visit but would rather stay at the Aloft - we will be back , often ! "This hotel is in a perfect location for enjoying the nightlife in Austin. The staff were extremely friendly and generous, and the rooms were very reasonably priced. Another great bonus is the on-site Verbena Restaurant which has a beautiful patio and the food was excellent. There’s also a really nice pool that overlooks the Austin skyline, which made for a perfect way to relax after a busy day at ACL. To top it all off, the hotel is dog-friendly, so my dog Teddy had a wonderful stay too!"

"The desk manager was on duty for the majority of our stay, she was so helpful! Gave us recommendations on places to eat. Warmed us about a protest going on in the city. The other desk staff were also very kind. The room was absolutely beautiful! We were upgraded to a King at no cost. Complementary waters, a $15 credit per night for their snack/drink station (perfect for my mid-night snacking partner). The valet staff was so friendly and accommodating. This is the place to stay if you are...
