"Staff was completely wonderful. Room really needed dusting and vacuuming could not fix clock that was set one hour ahead of time. Wi-Fi just did not work despite hotel trying to help. Bathtub faucet dripped a steady stream that I reported to them."

"I travel to the island once or twice monthly for business. Sand Rose is my go-to stay, especially during the off-season when the sub $100 nightly rate fits my corporate travel budget. While not the least expensive room, certainly the best value on the island. After dozens of stays over the years, I’ve never seen a roach. Rooms are always clean. The included breakfast is top notch…I always look forward to it! Great amenities on site, but very well located between Clayton’s Beach Bar (largest in Texas), the Marriott, and the Hilton, giving lots of walkable options for dining and drinks."

"Great room, all the resort amenities were excellent especially the heated pool. Enjoyed the walking trails too. All the people staying there were respectful of others."

"Room wasn’t vacuumed real well and there were bloody fingerprints on the bedroom wall near mirror and on bathroom door. Employees at desk were nice. "
