"Great property and great sevice"

"It was our first stay here, and my husband and I really enjoyed it. The surroundings were very quiet and family-friendly, and the staff at the front desk were extremely friendly. The only downside was that the hallways on the third floor, where we stayed, had a strange smell. However, aside from that, we would definitely return for another stay."

"The Heywood Hotel is located in close proximity to almost everything. There are so many wonderful restaurants nearby along East Cesar Chavez Street and East 6th Street. We also enjoyed shopping and eating on South Congress. The staff was very helpful to us. It was nice to be able to park and the walk to your room is a very short distance. We also took the Austin City Limits theatre tour which was very enjoyable. We chose the Heywood mainly for its close proximity of the Malin meeting complex. "

"CLEAN HOTEL! This was the most secure hotel I’ve ever stayed at! I appreciate it is a new property but they spared no expense on having added security at the lobby entrance, elevators and other common areas. The neighborhood is obviously undergoing gentrification, so the surrounding area isn’t all pretty, however the hotel and parking garage feels and is SAFE AND SECURE! Super clean, great breakfast, nice and helpful staff!!!!! Parking cost per day, but it was worth it to me(as it is secured)! Will stay again! I hope management can keep this hotel in tip top shape! "

"Wonderful staff and amenities. The gym had more than 2 working treadmills. The pool area wasn’t stuffy for being indoors. The breakfast and happy hour was awesome. Only negative would be the rooms. They’re slightly old but still clean"

"Great location! Hotel is new and has spacious clean rooms with a kitchenette/sleeper sofa. Beds comfy! Staff very nice and helpful. Pool has a poolside menu. Did not end up using the workout room. Breakfast was convenient-lots of items to choose from. Will definitely stay there again. "
