"Love this hotel and decor Close to everything "

"There was no utensils or anything to cook with. I spent 25 minutes cleaning and mopping. Other then that the room was nice "

"When I first got there, I was placed in a room with a broken toilet and a non-working phone when I got to my other room I called the front desk and requested for more cups and towels and ended up never receiving them. Also they claim they do room service every other day so if you’re there for two nights, I guess you don’t get room service so I just had trash sitting. And the same sheets from the previous night."

"Customer service was excellent from the moment we got there. Rooms were clean. Kids enjoyed the pool. "

"Overall stay was easy and quick. Did not use amenities such as pool or breakfast. The hotel, you can tell was once beautiful and a place for events and gatherings. But the furniture is old, elevator is old, decor is outdated, painting and upkeep is needed, it's definitely a cheap hotel for a reason. Staff was friendly, not much interaction needed. For this to be an Independence hotel, it needs some love invested. "

"Staff was excellent. They had weird cleaning smell in the hotel. Good for a simple stay. The shower tub needs deep cleaning. "

"Breakfast was included with our room and was exceptional. SO quiet in our room, nice little view of Lake Erie and downtown Cleveland. Loved the old Cleveland drawing on the big wall. High quality fixtures. Only suggestion is to dust behind furniture. Staff were all very accommodating and friendly. "
