Beautiful view of the piers from the hotel. Could do better with slight variation of the breakfast daily. Give us something to look forward to. Excellent service with friendly staff 😊

The Hotel end of the business seems to be dwarfed by the F&B end.

Superb! Very well equipped! Fantastic view too. Would have given it a 6 star rating if there is one.

I stayed at the Water Edge room. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable to sleep on. Quiet at night. The free parking was a plus for overseas guest who rented a car and less hassle looking for parking. Hotel staff are friendly and attend to your request asap.

Great view of Mt Wellington from the room. We’ve had a wonderful stay and it was really convenient to the pier and Salamanca market. Will come back again.

Quaint old building but with modern amenities. Appreciate the excellent location within a short walking distance to Salamanca Place and the wharves. Our room had a mesmerising view of snow-capped Mt Wellington.

Had a fantastic stay here! Very friendly young lady assisted us with check in. Walking distance to Salamanca market and a liquor shop just next door where we got our drinking water.

Second time staying in this hotel and it is amazing!!

Value for money. Front desk staffs (Christine / Helen) were always helpful when you need something sorted out.

Clean room with excellent staff service. One of the best in the city

Very nice historical building feel like a very well maintained boutique hotel. Friendly staff which are very helpful.

Room was great, Breakfast amazing...didn't stay long enough though

Room is comfortable and clean, hotel surrounding is pleasant. Parking is adequate. Check in/out is easy. Great !

The breakfast was a wonderful part of our stay!

Good family stay

Owner Jeff's personal touch is heart-warming. Attentive and caring, he sought a doctor when my throat felt sore, he read out a breakfast menu every morning and looked after our overall wellbeing. The furnishings, a few weeks short of Christmas, had an old-world charm and homey feeling, particularly in its lovely breakfast lounge. The quaint lodge exterior, stemming from the mid-19th century, was a major draw for us, well worth the uphill walk every evening as we came back from day-tripping....
