"The location was great, tons of food options around. The rooms can get extremely hot and stuffy as the AC doesn't seem to be the best and sometimes even question if it is actually working. They now charge an absorbent amount for parking, I remember going here 2 years ago and was charged less than half of what I was charged this time. It cost 320 euro for parking for 2 weeks. Otherwise the rooms and all common areas were very clean and overall I had a good stay."

"The hotel is really good! Breakfast is awesome. The dinner restaurants serve good food, but they could offer a wider variety of dishes. The rooms and all the facilities are super clean! The spa is also good, the pools are nice, although the gym is a little limited. Free parking is a big plus. Summary: A really nice hotel to relax and chill"

"Beautiful location with very attentive staff. The one downside was when we upgraded to Crown service & I would say it really was not worth it … the difference in service between normal and crown service was incredibly minimal for such a big price difference.. that I would not recommend. However! Both breakfast and dinner was delicious with sooo many options! Would stay again just would not upgrade."

"I like the hotel and so do my sons this is the second time we’ve stayed there and it’s great. The hotel is great, has lots of facilities and the staff try to attend to everyone as best they can. It just doesn’t feel quite as luxurious as it should for the price. Dirty or not enough glasses for serving drinks, lunch/dinner food can get a bit bland and boring. But there are choices and that makes up for it, and also understandable when catering for a wide and varied customer base. The pools are great although it’s a fight for loungers in the morning. Service at the pools and bars could be better but the staff work very hard so can’t complain too much. It might be different as a couple or adults only, and like I say it’s good just not great or excellent."

"Great pools, and spa pool, lots of space and sunbeds. Nice food and cocktails at the bar. Lively bar with live music in the evening. Rooms clean and great sea view balcony. Great view of Mt Teide from the outside breakfast patio. Free parking, walkable downhill to town."

"We stayed at the Gran Melia Palacio Isora in August 2026 (2 adults & 15 year old). The hotel is one of the most beautiful properties we’ve ever stayed in with the pool area a particular highlight. The staff are all incredibly friendly, whether that be in the restaurants, bars, housekeeping or pool attendants - they are a credit to the hotel and we cannot praise them highly enough. We stayed in a deluxe pool facing room which was huge and had every amenity we could need. The bathrooms were spotless and the balcony was one of the biggest I’ve ever seen. The hotel also accommodated our request for hypoallergenic bedding. My only quibble with the room was that the beds are on the firm side - careful if you’re used to a softer mattress. The food in all restaurants was a very high standard and service was super quick. You do need to be quick booking the Italian or Nami on the app (we booked as soon as we checked in but by the following morning, everything was booked up). We would recommend you bring some cans of insect repellent as the flies around the pool area and in the restaurants are persistent and will give you a little nibble. However, they leave you alone when bug spray is applied. We’d also suggest getting a taxi to Los Gigantes (10-15 mins) and doing one of the whale and dolphin tours. The Flipper UNO tour we went on was a highlight. Overall, this is an incredibly beautiful hotel, with some of the finest staff in all of Europe. Highly recommended."
