"Very gd location"

"Great experience with Rose Hotel Yokohama! It is an older hotel but very spacious (unlike many hotels in Tokyo or Osaka), located steps away from Chinatown. Most of the staff can speak Japanese, English and Chinese. They were very helpful with our luggage requests and despite only staying for one night, we were thoroughly pleased with the amazing customer service. The staff really helped make our Yokohama stop a fantastic experience."

"I love how it’s located on the river which is lined with cherry blossoms which our stay happens to be during blooming season. It is a quick 2 minute walk to Koganecho station for convenience and many shops and restaurants in the area. The rooms were nice and convenient to have a 4 bed bedroom for the family. The only complaint is there are only 2 washers and dryers on the 2nd floor which is shared by customers, but no other issues I have with the stay. The staff is nice and the breakfast buffet is a good start to the day."

"Very quiet area!! Walkable to nice park. The staff was so Very helpful in arranging some transportation before we arrived! We had a corner room on the 12th floor…really enjoyed looking around the area from there! Very close to Chinatown! And their Chinatown was clean, friendly, and I felt safe! And on our last night there, they had spectacular fireworks in the harbor! We enjoyed them from our room! Thanks for the hospitality and fireworks !! "

"This hotel was well-located at Yokohama Harbour. We walked to Cosmo World, the huge Ferris wheel, the air cabins, the tall ship, the Landmark Hotel 69th floor lookout, brickyards,…all the local attractions. And we’re seniors. La veranda restaurant in the hotel serves a great breakfast buffet, with both Japanese and western options. A coin op laundry supplies its own detergent. Got a load done for $3. Dry for a buck. Subway station right down the street. Yokohama is a beautiful city and the Apa tower is perfect. Pay a little more and get a room with a view of the harbour. It’s especially beautiful at night. "

"Citadines Harbor Front is convenient for cruise passengers: right at Nihon-Odori station, a short walk to Osanbashi cruise terminal, and about a 4,000 yen taxi ride to the Daikoku Pier cruise terminal which is further out. Yokohama Chinatown is 5 minutes walk. The rooms are large (unlike the typical cramped spaces at many Tokyo hotels) and well equipped. The 7th floor has a large guest lounge, uncomplicated washers and dryers, and a fitness room. Breakfast is expensive. An essential tip: if you and your group needs multiple rooms, request rooms on the same floor. Hotel security policy does not allow guests to directly access other guest rooms on other floors. You have to go to the lobby and ask a hotel staff to let you access them. "
