"Funky, industrial design hotel. Rooms are kinda small. No closet, but lots of pegs on the walls for clothes. Even a small table and two chairs, in case you want an intimate meal in your room. Great big lobby with lots to do - books, games, even a DJ!"

"Room was clean, staff were helpful, room was quiet. I ordered a Club Sandwich, menu said sourdough (white) however I received a standard white sliced sandwhich bread, plus the sand which was not presented like the photo in your menu it was cut into quarters as I would cut for my child. Please provide options for the guests if you are not supplying as per your stated menu. This was disappointing. As I own an Organic Sourdough Company in Qld I was looking forward to the late lunch. "Great stay at Avoca Randwick. Awesome location and the hotel staff were incredibly warm and helpful, which set the tone for a great stay. I stayed to attend and event and also spend time at the beach so couldn't have asked for a better spot and amenities. Keyless door locks were also an added feature."

"Clean, well appointed, large suite. Full kitchen and laundry. Decent gym and had a really nice appetiser from the restaurant (using a $20 food and beverage credit). The view from the balcony was of a main road and the airport… so hardly beautiful but pretty unique! Surprisingly I was not at all bothered by the noise so the soundproofing was great. I didn’t use the ear plugs they provided. The vibe of an airport hotel is strange… a mix of disgruntled bused-in passengers from cancelled flights mixed with excited families about to jet off on their holidays."
