It was an interesting stay as the prior time had been vastly different experience prior to COVID.
It is clear that Reception are not encouraged to provide great and prompt service. Checkin took about 12 minutes, and checout took 15 minutes and I just left as I had to return a rental car.
I was disappointed in the overall experience from arrival, as I had booked a room with 3 people. In the 'fine print' as I was advised on departure, there was extra owing for my child as bedding was brought to the room. On every other provide I book, the booked rate when selecting 3 people adjusts to accommodate. Burying in the 'fine print' in misleading for consumer choice.
I mostly like the property, the rooms did not have the same level as attention prior to COVID, and I have issues with 3 vending machines. When advising Reception, I was told to have a seat and Housekeeeping would attend. 10 minutes later I advised Reception if they could bring the stuck item to the room. Noone arrived and cut my losses as I could see that the team were not equipped to manage expected service levels.
Was upgraded to a 2 Bedroom Apartment, but they locked the 2nd bedroom door. Seems a bit strange instead of offering the bedroom instead of the roll away bed for the 'upgrade'.
Bathroom doors have now got door closers on them which just annoying for many reasons.
In the end I would recommend as a cost effective product for 2 people just out of Sydney, and just read the fine print.
