Nice , quiet good stay
The staff are super friendly, they explained all the rules and facilities very clear. The room are tidy, clean and quiet. Actually the location is a bit far from the train station, but bus can reach to the area. So it is not the big deal. The street won't noisy and you will feel safe, supermarket just one to two minutes walk,quite convenience.

This is a lovely traditional building and lovely decor. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The free hot drinks was a nice touch..but I don’t think the tiny plastic cups are appropriate for very hot drinks! Our room (the buttlerfly room) was very nice and great bathroom. However, we stayed on a Saturday night and the the outside noise was awful..people walking past, traffic, beeping from the crossing. The windows didn’t seem to block out any noise :( we ended up both sleeping with pillows over our heads. Not a good nights sleep..but it was otherwise a lovely place. The bus was easy to catch into Florence and also very close to station :)..I would stay here again and recommend to friends..but I’d ask for a room not located on the main road / pavement :)

Half the rooms are next to a main road
Positives - the hotel is very clean, the rooms are big, all staff were very helpful. The hotel is away from the city but the bus system is easy to navigate. Negatives - half the rooms are next to a main road and on the same level as it. Even with ear plugs and sleeping pills this was an issue.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. As we were coming up the stairs she didn’t want us to carry up Incase we were at the wrong location. She also speak multiple languages like French Spanish English and Italian!

Confortable hotel
The entrance of the building is a piece of art. The hotel is decorated with a really good taste.The lady at the reception is very friendly and informative, always willing to help. The distance to the city centre is reasonable (20m walk or 15 by bus). The room is spacious and very clean. The bathroom is modern. There is a nice breakfast place one block form the hotel. We will definitely stay there if we are back in Florence.

We needed to drop our bags off during off hours and Tziana was very accommodating. She gave us a great map of the city and very clear directions on how to get downtown. The bus stop was nearby (although it doesn’t run terribly frequently so plan plenty of buffer time to get downtown). Very nice and quiet location and the rooms were beautiful!

Very pleasant location in Campo di Marte.
Conveniently placed room only accommodation of spacious proportions, several minute walk from the C di M rail station, then a 5 minute train ride (euro 1.5) direct to Florence SMN station. Breakfast at café across the road is good value at less than euro 4.5 for 2 x coffee & croissants. Pizzeria 2 minutes around the corner in the evening where a welcoming Marionne and staff serve a choice of tasty pizzas and pasta dishes, beers and wines for 30 to 40 euros for 2 persons.

In general terms the stay covered my expectations however the room was a little noisy (window was not able to seal due to its design) and noise from street was very loud.

Georgeous room and environment
After a 36 hour trip and arriving late at night the staff went out if their way to accommodate us. The property was beyond gorgeous and comfortable, from the beautiful room to the amazing artwork in the hallway, granite staircase, maybe marble, and beautiful garden. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Nice quiet place away from the center.
Staff was very accommodating and kind. Our first room didn't have a/c as it was broken, not ideal as we were there in a heat wave, but the staff made arrangements for us to move for the rest of our stay. The location is quiet, which is hard to find in Florence these days. The trade off is the distance from the center. We lived in FLorence for many years, and had a car, so it was convenient for us. The bus stop is really close as well. All in all it was a very nice clean location and a nice retreat from the heat of the city.

Ok for us
The room was good for what we needed for two nights and near the train station for our next trip. It's about 45 mins walk to the main area and 10 mins by train.Taxi about €16. Would I stay in this place again? Yes it does the job and a good price too. If you don't like walking. Its local transport.

Beautiful.
The entire building was decorated with very good taste. All the rooms were spacious. The bathroom had special details like first class toiletries and towels. Even though it is far from the city center, there are lots of public buses to take you everywhere. Just 4 blocks from the hotel there is the most amazing cafe and bakery (yummy). One block from the train station, and the neighborhood in general is nice. Tiziana, the lady who runs the hotel, is very nice and helps in everything possible. A great stay. If there is something that could be improved is having a microwave available. We recommend this hotel .

Little Gem
Lovely little b&b and the staff are very friendly and helpful!! We didn't have the breakfast here at all but there's a lovely deli across the road that does authentic sandwiches and another that has lovely ice cream. Air conditioning was great as was the free wifi. The only downside was it was a 30 minute walk to the centre of the city but there is a bus available but we never used it. The place is well decorated and very clean and I would definitely stay again.

Great lodging while in Florence
I fell in love with Palazzo Lombardo when I first saw the pictures. I will give a 5 stars to this BandB for the great staff, cleanlines, walking distance to great eateries and for easy access to public transportation. Taking route 17 I was able to go to many places of interest in the city or go to Santa Maria Novella station and hoping to another bus. I greatly enjoyed my stay at Palazzo Lombardo and highly recommend it to anyone. Great value. Sandra, Texas, USA

Beautifully decorated hotel
Nice hotel in a great location within walking distance of the main attractions in Florence and the train station. The room was immaculate and the hotel was very grand including a marble stair case leading up to a grand entrance, beautifully decorated rooms and parquet floors. The bed and pillows were great and the hotel is very secure.

This b&b is run by a sweet family. Ready to help at all times with anything and super nice. They were glad to give us all the information about the city, how to get to everywhere and were very nice in general. The rooms are beautiful and very clean and have everything needed. Nice brakfast with fresh food and planty of choice. Will defenatly stay here again :)

it’s a lovely place with high ceilings and rather big rooms but i had the bad luck of arriving in the pooring rain and there was no public transport since it was the 1th of may so ended up having to wait for a taxi for over an hour. very crumpy by that time… lady at the reception was lovely and helpful! my room was in the front of the building and very noisy so maybe take earplugs! otherwise a very nice place but for me a bit too far from the center as a solo traveler!
