Unfortunately we were automatically moved from the Sun House to a large Hotel a few blocks away. It completely changed the vibe of the trip for us. We were after a quaint, quiet location with its own kitchen and outdoor space. What we received was a bustling, loud, overfilled hotel lacking all the reasons why we chose the Sun House. More than disappointing.

Great place to stay and excellent host
The location of the property is amazing. Major attractions are in walking distance. It has parking spot which was a great relief for us. On top of that, the property was so peaceful and comfortable. The best part of our stay was the host. She was super nice and helpful. My wife was not feeling well in the morning and she allowed us to use her space until she gets better. She helped a lot while she was recovering. One of the best stay I have ever had.

Best hosts. They were very nice and the courtyard parking was a plus in the middle of town which is very hard to get parking in the middle of Florence. It was very convenient walk to the Galleria Dell’Accademia Di Firenze to see Statue of David and the popular sandwich shop All’Antico Vinaio. That was a fun trip. The apartment was the cutest and I loved the layout very much. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay. They allowed us to park on the property which was great. They also provided bicycles so we ever needed to drive while in Florence. My only complaint was the amount of mosquitos in the room. We killed 5 our first night and kept finding more.

We had such a beautiful stay at the Sun House. The host is really wonderful and so hospitable. Rooms were spacious, cleanly and very convenient. Very walkable to the main centre of the city. Overall, I am certain that I will be coming back to stay here when I return to Florence. Grazie.

This was our second stay. We stayed here on our honeymoon and the hosts are so amazing we had to stay again. The room was super clean and comfortable. Parking available on site. Did I mention the hosts are amazing! Super value and easy walk to the historic center. Love it!

Great location
We loved our stay at Sun House. Simona is very pleasant and helpful with everything from the communication to the check in process and even suggestions for our stay. The off street courtyard parking is a must if you arrive with your own vehicle! The rooms are clean, tidy and beds are very comfortable. Park and walk everwhere. Would highly recommend.

In one word it was Amazing! Our host was extremely friendly and gave us a map with very helpful information, the place is super clean, Modern and bed was so comfortable, AC was a plus, also bicycles available for free, very close to city center, quiet neighborhood… perfect place to visit Florence super highly recommended !!!! Great price too!

The Sun House is a very nice place to stay when you are in Florence. Clean, quiet, close walk to the center, great parking for your car. Very comfortable beds. I have stayed at the Sun House many times over the past few years and I highly recommend.

That was just perfect. Very welcoming staff, giving us good visiting advice. The room was really spacious and nice. Location was perfect to visit Florence without any transportation. There was a parking, and you can even borrow bikes for free.

Nice property for the price! I enjoyed that it was so close to the Arno River. All the main sites are about a twenty minute walk. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like is that it had some scent of cigarette smoke.

Quite central, spacious, clean and quiet location. The room I was given was big enough. I was also able to park my car in the atrium area. You can also use the kitchen if you want. My only concern was the odor in the bathroom. It was quite strong and had to keep the bathroom door shut all the time.

Great Location with Onsite Parking
Located in a safe area in Florence - close enough to the city center that we were able to walk everywhere. Also included free onsite parking. Our room was quite comfortable & had a small outside area to enjoy a coffee. There's a communal kitchen, which was a life saver our first night, plus a larger terrace above the garage. We were able to take advantage of the available bicycles & found Florence very easy to explore on a bike.

Fantastic Inn
It was one of the best stays we've had in all of Italy. The hosts lent us bikes for free to ride around the city, which was about a few minutes only. 10/10 would stay again!

The host was awesome! He moved his car so we had a place to park. The room was great! Split level with bedroom in the loft. A fun room! Great location to Florence as it was easy walking distance! Highly recommended.

A surprise found in Florence. Walking distance to the must-see in old city center. Just outside of ZTL. Very reasonable priced. My daughter loved the two-story layout.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!
This is an AMAZING property. The owners are very nice and helpful. Parking is inside and is a real bonus as parking is very difficult otherwise. All of the must see places are well within walking distance. This will be the only place I stay in Florence.

A perfect stay!
This was an amazing stay. We didn't realize that our hotel room would be a small apartment with second floor loft. It was such a welcome surprise! The apartment was bright, spacious, and clean. The free WiFi signal was the strongest and most robust I've experienced in my travels, and extremely helpful when working remotely on one's laptop. We also chose this hotel for free parking of our rental car within the property. Simona was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about Florence and nearby resources. The location was central and walking distance to most of Florence's main tourist destinations. There is a wonderful bakery at the nearby corner with the most amazing fresh baked goods and pizzas every day. Overall, we had a delightful and perfect stay!

We had an amazing stay in Florence here. Location was perfect! Short walk from the city centre and we were easily able to park at hotel without navigating through restricted car areas in Florence. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful, we were also given access to bikes which was such a fun way to get around.

I cannot rave enough about this hotel. It by far exceeded my expectations. The host (Simona) is the sweetest woman imaginable and does everything to make sure you are happy, comfortable and feeling at home. The hotel/rooms by far rose above the standard that most hotels reach and the beds were very comfortable. On top of all that you can also park your car on the lot for free and she has a shed full of bikes for free use! We decided to just try something different and bike around Florence and it was the highlight of our Europe traves. We got to see way more because of how quick it was and it was a fun way to travel (without paying any sort of bike fee you normally pay when travelling), plus the hotel is very close to the city centre so it was easy. Overall, our stay here was more than a pleasant surprise. If youre on the fence just book it. We have been travelling Europe for 2 months now staying at a new hotel each night and this was by far our favourite one!
