"Indifferent service. I arrived at 10pm after a long journey and was very tired but had to wait 10 minutes before somebody was available to check me in No central heating in very cold bedroom ( no 9) and no hot water . Tacky little room carved out of a bigger one. Entire hotel has seen better times ..."

"For our 24 hour trip up to Glen Coe and Ft. William, the Maclean Guest House was the perfect overnight stay. Brandi at check-in was lovely and full of suggestions. She was able to quickly accommodate a last minute change in our plans. Clean, comfy, and relaxing night!"

Functional, clean and good breakfast but noisy
"Everything in the room worked, it was clean and breakfast was good (restaurant area had been done up nicely). Good view from our room too. Only issue was the paper thin walls so it was noisy and if unlucky with the people in nearby rooms like we were, you won't get much sleep. Got a reasonable price ..."
