Learn more about Spean Bridge

Pay your respects at the Commando Memorial, where bronze soldiers honour elite troops who trained in the surrounding Highlands. Hike along the Great Glen Way or take a boat tour on Loch Lochy to spot wildlife and enjoy spectacular mountain views.

The Commando Memorial in Lochaber, Scotland is another one of those spots I kept on "photography" list. This place has a charming atmosphere and breathtaking views, but it's always busy with visitors or the conditions are not right. This time I was lucky for a beautiful sunset at the background and the temperature kept most of the people away, so I was there almost alone. If you have a moment, make sure you google this listed monument, as it is fascinating reading.
