Our room is more like a studio apartment than a traditional hotel room. It’s great to have all the convenience of a home even for a short 3 days stay. Breakfast was served at the restaurant on the ground floor with more than adequate selections plus the option of eggs prepared to our liking. The location has a lot to offer with just a short walk to the city center with all the attractions and the U4/U5 metro station. We will stay here in our future trips to Frankfurt for sure.

Very modern, clean, and the staff couldn’t be more friendly, polite and helpful. Our only complaint was the lord music from another room and from cars in the street were very loud until 4am. The hotel has impressive soundproof doors and windows but still could hear boom boom boom all night long. Very convenient location and price. Would stay there again, just bring ear plugs.

What a disappointment this place has been. I had high hopes because of the excellent reviews and I paid for a premium room with a view. In reality the room was mediocre at best. The room was never cleaned while I stayed (i was told one had stay more than 2 days). There was garbage in front of my room. What a scam of a disgusting hotel. Avoid it if you can!

Dear Hakan, thank you for your message. I am very sorry, that we could not fulfil your needs. You booked a standard room with river view. The standard rooms are from the ground to the 6th floor. So maybe next time you book an executive room, they are on the top floors. The cleaning is every 3 days. We offered you fresh towels but you said "why would i need extra towels". So to safe the environment there is no cleaning at a two days stay. I am really sorry for that. We wish you all the best!

This property is in a great location, has a great view of the river. The concierge staff were so attentive, helpful and friendly. The room is spacious, clean and has great amenities, including a kitchen. The bed was fine for us but if you do not think a standard double is big enough for you, then this may be the only issue. Restaurant on property will sell you a bottle of wine or beer to take to your room, nice touch as you can not purchase alcohol in stores on a Sunday.

Good for the money but bad wifi
Great size room, very close to downtown Frankfurt. Excellent service from reception, very personable. Breakfast was delivered because of COVID and it was pretty basic. The WIFI was patchy at best and not good enough for regular video calls.

Just book it.
I could write paragraphs about how wonderful your stay will be here. This place is excellent. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from a really good grocery store which is perfect to stock your fridge. The rooms are so spacious especially if you pay for the river view. The location is perfect, it is 15 minutes walk from everywhere you would want to go to the city center.

Excellent! ! !
This hotel is hands down the best place to be in Frankfurt. Awesome view of the river and for corner apts the skyline too. It has it's own kitchen to limit interaction with restaurants. Add AC and good internet and all you need is some good company. Everything is in walkable distance and with an e-scooter you can run down the river side and be anywhere you want in 5 minutes. I've been coming to this hotel for 2 years, staying months at a time and not even thinking about changing.

Everything about The Flag Oskar was great. They replied to my messages quickly, location was perfect, employees were friendly, room was big and clean. Also there is a grocery market right across the street. We would definitely stay here again whenever back in Frankfurt but with a river view room.

Really loved this hotel! The room looking out at the river was gorgeous, there was netflix, a well-stocked kitchen, and it's right across from a grocery store and fitness studio. The air conditioning is good but has an autooff timer which makes it quite warm at night.

Good Stay, lovely view
Excellent place to stay because of location. We walked everywhere and when it rained it was a 10 min Uber ride from Zeil. The wifi was not the best but they said they were working on it. They don't pay for the higher cable package so all the TV channels are in German except for CNN and the wifi was not strong enough to connect to Netflix.

I’m not sure why this is a vip property ? It was fustrating that we found ourselves very under the weather and in need of water in the evening after the Aldi was closed . There was no place to buy water or any sort of liquids on property :(. There is a bar/restaurant but it closed quite early.. They advertise a king bed but it is 2 twins pushed together which was I buy fustrating and uncomfortable for 2 people . If you end up in a room on the first floor facing the road it’s very noisy .

Wonderful room for our time in Berlin, and you can see why they rent out on a short term basis as well, with a the spacious, modern suites. Had a very unfortunate incident where the front desk gave another guest access to our room and my wife and I had someone enter our room just before midnight. There should be safeguards in the building's booking system so this CANNOT happen, as it affected our comfort levels and ability to feel secure in the room.

Newly design and Modern apartment in heart of Frankfurt. Good location to walk alongside river and downtown. Safe garage Parking for 20 euro. Full marks to location But there are some problems during our stay. It was hot outside and AC was not working in room. It was out of service. We opened window but then it was so noisy even late night. Bed was not enough big for two people but sofa bed was good alternative choice. No ventilation in bathroom & Kitchen. If you cook something you need to keep open window. There were no spoon/folk and other necessary kitchen items provided. You have to bring own cooking oil, salt, suger etc. Most complicated thing was microwave. It took hour to understand its function. You have to throw your garbage outside at container. Its sad how beatuful apartment built but how badly they managed the things. Hotel should pay some attention on customer comfort

Nice view, wonderful interior
Free water at the reception. Nice staff. Wonderful apartment, clean and bright. Just had problems understanding how the oven works and although I booked a king-size bed there were two separate mattresses which wasn't what I expected.
