"We stayed in suite 30. The room had everything we needed. The kitchen was clean, the bathroom and tub were clean, the bed was comfy. The bedroom had 2 closets and a chest of drawers. There was a picnic table outback although the grill has seen better days and did not look safe to use. Some of the furniture is outdated and the floor needed a little cleaning. Other than that the service was awesome. Housekeeping checked with us every morning to see if we needed anything. "

"If you're looking for a peaceful, rustic, and a good place to star gaze this is it for sure. Nice place for a weekend getaway/small wedding venue. Breakfast and dinner options on Fridays and Saturdays only but food was excellent when served. There are refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms so not a problem if staying for more than a few days. Bar also open on the weekends only. It's a cat sanctuary (they have about 16 cats on the property, all outdoor cats) so if you're allergic to cats may not be a good place for you. Close to hiking trails if that's your thing. Closest town about a 30–40-minute drive. Overall, we loved the place even though it would benefit from some upkeep. "
