Seikiro Ryokan Historical Museum Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was great really peaceful stay!"
Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely too notch hotel, should be five star. You are taken care of before you even enter the premises. Reception staff most welcoming, all v organised. My superior room was incredible with an outdoor mini onsen, private and luxurious. Room huge, tatami mats, spotless and smelt amazing as did the lobby. Hotel onsen was the best one Ive been to, large indoors and outdoors also with cold plunge pool and sauna. Fabulous food in the evenings, full 11 course menu in a private room, so delicious and the breakfast was buffet style so catered to all needs. Shuttle bus operates regularly all day and free. I was so sad to leave!"

Kinosaki Onsen Kawaguchiya Honkan
10/10 Excellent
"Second stay at this ryokan after a perfect stay last year. Location is perfect - on the willow-lined river street close to onsens. Quiet, comfortable rooms. Public and private onsen on site, excellent dinner served at the restaurant. Air conditioning wasnโt cooling the room completely, but staff were accommodating with extra fans. Thank you Kaki for another wonderful stay."
Mercure Kyoto Miyazu Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Dinner buffet was great!"
Grandvrio Hotel Tamba Sasayama
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent location with excellent staff service. It is literally located beside the Hon Sasayama bus stop and the Kawaramachi district. Impressed with the staff who noticed that I was fully drenched from the rain and immediately handed me a towel during check in! They also offer a bar with free flowing beer, sake, soft drink and post onsen ice cream. However, do note that you need to take a 20 min bus ride from JR Sasayama Station if you are not driving. Highly recommended!"
