"We really enjoyed our stay! Staff were friendly and facilities were very clean. Only thing that could have made it better is the position of the smoke room. When the doors would open/close, the smell of smoke would easily get inside which made the first half of the lobby smell like smoke. Other than this, we had a great time!"

We were lucky enough to have a private onsen with very clean water at the perfect temperature on a lovely little lanai. All of the staff are very friendly and professional and the food is fantastic as well. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a touch of classic Japan in Kyoto!"

"First time in Kyoto and we had the best time in this traditional feeling Japanese ryoken. Staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Their restaurant was traditional, inexpensive and very yummy. No complaints at all, would go back!!! Immaculate gardens around the property, good coffee shop on the parking lots, convenience store close by, close to a major bus route. Absolutely breathtaking neighborhood."
