It was incredibly convenient and comfortable to basically have my own apartment in a cozy neighborhood in north Kyoto, just a few miles from downtown and the main transit station. My family of 8 had an excellent stay for 3 nights about 2 weeks back. We stayed on the 4th floor in 2 rooms. No elevator was an issue when moving luggage but the stairs were easy to climb, rooms were spacious and everything was clean. All amenities were excellent. The washer was helpful and the shower as a drying room worked awesome. The bus stops were close bus was frequent. Loved Kyoto and Ben's guesthouse!

Another good stay. Good basic and clean accommodation, being winter I did find it rather cold this time and could have done with another or thicker duvet but the accommodation itself lacks nothing, well positioned in a nice suburban area of Kyoto close to transport, and it's own shrines and onsens.
