Staff was very helpful and super friendly!!
One of the best capsules I have ever stayed in.
Very affordable and clean.
Great amenities, lounge/work space
Very clean capsule hotel. Super comfy beds controlled by iPods. Great breakfast. Area around the place is full of restaurants. Staff super nice and helpful
Place is just beside ichiran main shop.
accessible to donki, drug stores. River bank just around the corner.
Accomodation is good. Everything you need is there.
I love everything about this hotel!!! The facilities, especially the bed, common dining/working lounge, and shower areas are really nice and comfortable. For its price and overall establishment, a solo traveler can never go wrong with this place. Location is also superb - just beside the subway, surrounded by konbinis, and the ichiran building! Perfecto
Comfortable bed and amenities. Co space to have coffee or relax. You can still hear people at night even when they are trying to be quiet. Take exit 4 from train if you have a trolley bag with escalators instead of stairs.
Compared to my first capsule hotel this place was actually amazing. I was only in Fukuoka two nights for the float parade festival, but this hotel was actually amazing especially for the price. Your capsule bed area was actually spacious, THERE’S FREE BEER EVERYDAY 530PM-630PM, you’re a 5 min walk away from Kushida Shrine and a 10 min walk from Canal City (mega shopping mall), and you get an amenity bag with a ton of stuff you can pick up downstairs like ear plugs, a toothbrush you can dispose of everyday, etc. and the showers are private and rain-like ones that also have the spray handle. Loved my stay here and wish I could’ve stayed longer. Zero complaints.
It's connected to the same company's more upscale hotel called The Lively. They have a nice lounge and coworking space, even adding a pool table. The Millennials is on the 3rd floor, with no washer and dryer (need to go to The Lively on the 4th floor).
Showers, washrooms and beds were extremely clean. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful when I lost my anti depressant medication at my previous hotel in Osaka (thanks Isabelle!).
The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of how HOT the main floor gets at night. It was difficult for me to sleep, and I often had to keep the privacy screen open so let in cooler air.
Very central and modern accommodation. Staff was friendly and mostly able to speak englisch as well.enough storage under the bed. Only minor negative points : curtains are quite loud when opened or closed, so earplugs are recommended. Curtains can not be opened when the bed is complete flat.
As most japanese accommodation it could be slightly uncomfortable if you are 1.80m
However definitly recommend it for solo travelers.
Just outside exit 2-3 of Nakasa-Kawabata station. The area is full of restaurants and if you walk a little bit along the river you will be able to eat at a yatai. When you enter the hotel, you actually need to go where it says “Lively”.
Before staying I didn’t understand why the cost was so high for a pod hotel. Well, now I know. Firstly, they have two areas: standard hotel and pods. I reckon because of their hotel side, they have to maintain extremely high standards. I must say, everything is absolutely excellent and clean. Showers are huge and they provide shampoo, conditioner and body shower of good quality (I’m funny with my hair routine, so trust me on this one). The pods feel big enough and I didn’t feel claustrophobic or anything. The common area is very nice (you can fill your water bottle there) and they have a lovely breakfast (with not much choice, but it’s more eco-friendly that way) and happy hour with free beer. They are pricey and make up for it with extra amenities. I stayed 2 nights, so I had the amenity bag too, with slippers, towels and a pouch with a couple of extra things. Price aside, I strongly suggest you check in online: when I arrived at 3 the queue was horrendous!
One last thing: I was a little nervous about it being an all gender space, but firstly it was mainly women, second everybody was very discreet and respectful.
The beds were excellent and a nice treat. Very comfortable. Rooms were quiet and had great screens to keep the light out.
No spa or any amenities like that. Washrooms were busy and crowded.
A more modern take on the capsule hotel style stay. Smart capsule was a nice place to sleep and stay. 1st floor lounge and bar was a nice addition. Recommend staying.
