The room was big, offering far more space than many other hotels in Japan. Well-maintained, it provided me with a relaxing stay. The onsen was a true highlight: beautifully designed and open from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and again from noon to midnight.
The only minor drawback was that the central air conditioning provided heat only, but the chilly weather in early April kept the room pleasantly comfortable.

Spacious room, compared with many other hotels in Japan. The onsen is awesome and nice (6:30 am to 9:30 am , then 12 noon to 00:00).
The only drawback is the central air conditioning only provides heat. The staff told me to turn off the heat and open the window if I felt too hot. Luckily i stayed in early Apr so I didn't feel hot and was quite comfortable actually.
The room was okay compared to others in Japan.
The Hot Spring was good. But, the heat central control system was very odd. It was too warm for us those two nights.
The location was good for me, and it was great to use the Spa pool for free. Although the room condition was great, there was smell (kind of stale urine smell) from the bathroom which was unpleasant as I could still smell with the door closed while sleeping. I strongly suggest that the hotel to sanitize the walls and the floor around the toilet bowl.
The hotel is old but very clean. Walkable to Hakata JR stations and subway stations. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores around. Hankyu Department store is in the station and lots of souvenirs shops too.
Located in heart of Hakata and yet have hot spring. Convenient and relaxing.

Well managed, great location
Location - excellent, in a quiet semi-back street close to several wonderful mini-marts and especially great for its nearness to the JR Station where there are lots of excellent reasonably priced restaurants. Of course there are also trains, plus buses and taxis in the station area.
Breakfasts were good.
Beds were comfortable and there was enough space in the room for two large cases. And us!
Staff were very helpful giving us extra pillows as needed and rang the taxi to the airport for us (quick and cheap ride). The bedroom window could not be tightly closed and freezing air blew on my back all through the first night. The next day lots of sticky tape covered up the gap! When told they offered immediately to fix tape over the gap, but I had done that so, as we were leaving the next morning, said they would send someone to fix it properly. When checking out we were given a letter expressing their thanks for telling them.
A good well managed hotel that is now a bit tired and needs a good workover but still worth staying at.
Check-in is very smooth, and they are able to store you lugge if you arrived early. This is quite important because coin lockers available in the Hakata station are very limited
The room is large enough, and the onsen is quite great and easy to access as well. You may also spend some free time at the night watching some videos in the room.
