The property has lots of character, a great free breakfast and two pools with friendly and helpful staff. there is free parking as well which is a huge benefit as street parking is very limited. "

"Enotel Lido is a 10 floor hotel centrally located 10 to 12 minutes by car from old Funchal. We stayed for 7 nights and were impressed with its housekeeping services, pristine grounds, and exceptional buffet menu. Each night was themed and there was an extensive vegetarian option. Lamb, chicken, duck, veal, shrimp and fish were outstanding. Desserts were incredible!! We plan to return as long as the chef doesn’t leave!! Thank you to all the staff for an unforgettable holiday!! ❤️ "
