"We spent 3 nights at Hotel Motel 6 Saanichton. We got 2 rooms with AC and 2 washrooms in the same property which is awesome for a family with teenagers. Clean rooms. The hotel was quiet. Staff made me feel welcome. We would definitely stay there again."

"The location was really good for our stay, close to restaurants and sites. The hotel appears to be new owners, who are trying to update the premises. We found the rooms to be clean but dated. The washroom was the worst. The tub surround had some mold in one of the corners and the walls of the washroom were not in good condition. They were bubbling from the condensation of the shower, and could actually see the drywall flaking off in spots. The laminate on the floor was also peeling up near the tub/shower. The sink was damaged in a number of spots. There was no screen on the window and the picture hanging in the room was obviously damaged and knocked out of its frame. We were a little disappointed in the property, it was not "dirty" but could use some care to bring up the level. Staff was helpful when they were there (they double as clerks for the adjacent liquor store). Overall stay would be rated an "OK.""
