"Stayed with the family for a week. Food: as an all inclusive, food was good. Reservation for specialized restaurant was complicated since restaurante has very limited availability. We arrived on Momday and get reservation for Thursday. If you are going for a 3-4 days trip, you couldn’t visit all specialized restaurant. Tepanyaki and Mexican restaurant food and service was great. Italian was awful. All plates were bad and cold. Rooms and hotels need a lot of update. Property is not mantian adequately. Specially the pool. Beds are not threat confortable and pillow are not good at all. Personally: al the staff were great. Always smiling and eager to talk. "

"Wonferfull stay! Our Suite was very large and immaculate! The restaurant and bar were awesome, but the best thing about this place are the staff!!!!! So kind and helpful and attentive. We loved them!!!"

"The alcohol was horrible you couldn’t even drink any of it. We had to go out buy the alcohol at supermarket to be able to drink it. The bartenders were nice but not enough of them to be efficient for the amount of people at the resort. The system of how to make reservations for the restaurants was only on certain time and you had to get up super early to form the line. The quality of the food in restaurants were just ok editable. The food at the buffet was good choices and decent quality. The towels for the pool one was allowed to get at one location only and only for certain about time and if you lost it $15.00 to replace the towel. The resort didn’t have enough beach chairs or umbrellas for shade at the pool or beach. The pool area didn’t have swim up bar which was ok if only they had waiters by the pool to get your drinks or enough bartenders to not form such huge line just to get water or horrible drink you couldn’t even drink. Overall the place was located by the beach with beautiful view. My room was very musty and needed upgrades. The air conditioning was on and off throughout the nights. I did have a roach in my room one night.. overall experience I would not recommend or return to this resort unless the turn over to new management was to up keep the resort. The staff were friendly and polite. "

"I recently stayed at the Viva Wyndham all-inclusive hotel and had a mixed but overall decent experience. Starting with the positives, the room was very clean and well-maintained throughout my stay, which made a great first impression. The air conditioning worked exceptionally well—definitely a big plus, especially in the warmer climate. The staff truly stood out; everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, which added a lot to the overall experience. The hotel also has two bars that were both enjoyable, offering a good atmosphere and solid drink options. However, there are several areas that need improvement. The food was probably the biggest disappointment. While there was variety, it lacked authenticity and flavor. Introducing more authentic and diverse food options would significantly enhance the dining experience. Another issue was the entertainment setup. The entertainment area is not enclosed, and the noise carries late into the night, making it difficult for guests to get proper rest. Enclosing this space or better managing sound levels would make a big difference. The beach is inconveniently located about a 3–5 minute walk from the hotel, which a little bit farther than expected, and the resort itself seems understaffed. Because of this, not all restaurants are open daily—typically one is closed, while the others are often fully booked, making it frustrating to plan for dinner. "Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfy! The staff made the stay much more than expected. They became like family. They were very attentive and patient with us through the language variances. The chef Chickie was excellent and would alter the menu as requested. Anna the housekeeper went beyond to ensure things were cleaned. Moises and Gleni also were over the top in providing the utmost service. The property is not on the beach (they have a shuttle daily) but in a safe area. I would walk the streets as people were going to and coming from work. I will go back! "
