"This Hotel was booked for an overnight stay after the Peter Kay show which I bought for a Xmas present for my Wife, and I paid for the upgrade room which I was not sure about at all BUT we were really pleased with what we experienced. The show was amazing and there were NO problems from start, stay and finish. We would gladly stay there again."

"No shops or restaurants/amenities close by, chose hotel for proximity to Glasshouse, which was excellent, 3 minutes walk. Although you can walk down over the millennium bridge very close to the Glasshouse to riverside pubs and restaurants. Took 30 minutes to walk back from central Newcastle city centre "

"Hotel is lovely. Convenient location. Staff really helpful. We stayed on a Friday night and we were concerned it might be noisy bu we had no issues at all. Only surprise was the shower arrangement in our twin room… the shower is actually in the bedroom, with opaque screens, however theres no where inside the cubicle to put your towel or remove your clothes without getting them wet. No problem for couples, but any exoected twist when you’re away with friends! "

"Room very bijou shower needed attention on temp control if someone else used theirs in another room water stopped coming through your shower .Greeted by lovely young kind guy but younger female receptionists too busy on their mobiles didnt even say good morning to us when we did or eve or afternoon very rude both me & husband thought never had that before anywhere . "

"Was offered a newly refurbished room which was excellent. Decor was nice, shower was huge, toiletries weren’t nailed to the wall in dispensers that you can barely operate (finally) and everything was modern and well laid out. My only problem was the room was very hot in the morning. The radiator had been turned down as low as possible but the room was still uncomfortably hot waking me up at 6.15am and unable to cool down to get back to sleep. "
