Unfortunately, my experience here was far from satisfactory due to serious safety concerns that made it impossible for me to stay. Upon arriving at the hotel just after midnight, we were yelled at by individuals loitering outside the premises. This was the first indication that the area surrounding the hotel was very unsafe. Upon checking into our room, we discovered that the safety lock was broken. Concerned for our security, I went downstairs to inform the staff and request a room change. To my surprise, the receptionist informed me that all the rooms in the hotel had their locks removed, a baffling and unacceptable practice that raised serious red flags regarding the safety and security of guests. Despite my insistence on the necessity of a secure accommodation, the staff seemed indifferent to our concerns, offering no viable solutions or assurances of safety. This utter lack of regard for guest safety is very concerning. Faced with such disregard for basic safety measures, we made the difficult decision to leave the hotel immediately, despite having already paid in full for our stay. The experience left us feeling vulnerable and exposed, and we were forced to seek alternative accommodations at great inconvenience and expense. I urge management to address these issues promptly and implement measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests.

All our doors are modern and new and all equipped with locks. These are electronic locks that lock very well from the inside with a simple quarter turn. Anyway, with electronic locks without the room key you cannot open and when closing from the inside even with the room key you cannot open. In itself, there is nothing more secure than our doors.

Christmas market
Had lovely stay very central and about 3 mins walk from train & bus station. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and warm. Maybe need a few more clothes hangers, but other than that very very minor detail. Would definitely recommend

Ok but not great. Pictures are a bit deceiving!
Room is very basic, more like a motel. AC in the room was not working and told the receptionist a few times and they seen very surprised, and claimed that it should work. And said they will look at it when we explored the city. And of course they didn’t fix it. Room is very hot and can’t open the window to sleep as too much noises plus very closed to the train station. The bathroom has lots of mold on the ceiling. The only pro thing is you can have unlimited coffees and teas at the restaurant and sit.

We felt safe and cared for during our stay. Our room was comfortable and had a great view down the street. We loved the coffee and water station, and the tables in the lobby for playing cards or eating a takeaway meal. The hotel is very convenient to the train/bus/transport station and is just a couple minutes’ walk down to the water. We did not appreciate how expensive the breakfast was and would not select that again.

The hotel was just great. The room was well-thought out even though it was small. Two of us did just fine. The staff was very, very helpful. The only negative was the Wi-Fi. The signal was quite weak in the room and kept going in and out. If the hotel boosts their signal, I’d give it an unequivocal 5 stars.

Very nice all around, my second time staying here and would stay again. Air conditioning kept breaking but maybe because of extreme heat. It soils be a nice touch to put an adaptor in the room for international plugs….

Good place to stay in Geneva! Only 3 mins walk to the train station and about 5 mins to the lake. Also it’s about 3 mins to the bus terminal where you have multiple choice of companies which can take you to Chamonix and Annecy. Staff is friendly and breakfast is good.

While I knew Geneva was an expensive city I was still surprised by the nearly $300 (US Dollar) Price for one night in a neat but very small room and that $300 did not even include breakfast!! Also the hotel could not or would not even provide ice for me so i could ice a broken finger suffered earlier on my trip.

The room was very hot and A/C was not working well. When we opened our window for some air, literally hundreds of flies came into the room. This was our only real issue. The hotel was beautiful and the area was very cool to explore.

Great service but strange smells
Marvin the night desk clerk and the day female desk clerks were very friendly, helpful and a joy. The only real issue was the strange smell coming from the bathroom that I could quite place or get totally rid of. Marvin helped bringing up spray, I ended covering the drains with towels and keeping the bathroom door closed which helped the room but I hated going in there for very long.

Small but comfortable hotel.
We came to see the grand continental city. We had 3 adult family members and so chose the hotel for the loft arrangement and it’s proximity to the train station and the lake. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was great, and the room was small but comfortable. We were very happy with it.

The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The rooms were simple and clean and pleasant. The showers was great. So easy to get to and from the hotel on foot too. I would stay here again.
