The property was in a great location however very dated. The rooms are comfortable enough however the noise from the old elevator was annoying and none stop throughout the night.

The beds were two singles pushed together and the gap was uneven and not level not comfortable for a couple.

Faded glory - this must have been an epic hotel when it was in its heydey - the architecture is awesome for any brutalist fans. It's showing it's age now but still an incredible location and great value. Bathrooms in particular are very basic, but the cleaner's are incredibly thorough. Sadly googling the history it appears more likely to be demolished than properly refurbished, but would definitely recommend a good value break whilst it's still available - it's literally 20 metres from the beautiful Rainbow Bay Beach. Staff are very friendly, and there's a small parking area on site.
