"Great place to stay"

"Room was clean, did have a slight issue with smell though. When we left our room our first day and returned that evening it had a very pungent smell, might have been the AC but unsure. With that said the room was clean and had no other issues. The gem of the stay was Karla who gave us a map and many places to visit along a route and it was amazing and so helpful! Definitely wouldn’t have seen all the things we did in 2 days without her help!!"

"This hotel lives up to its star rating. The staff took care of everything, from hiring a private chauffeur to pick us up from the airport, to hailing a taxi to take us to the cruise port. The complimentary breakfast in Plassohla was a couple steps above your typical hotel breakfast buffet, with fresh-squeezed orange juice, freshly made pastries and muffins, and a mouth-watering blend of roasted vegetables to have with the scrambled eggs, which did not come from a powder. We also ate at Caelis, the on-site Michelin-starred restaurant, and though it was expensive, it was a first-rate experience. Our room on the front corner of the building on the sixth floor had a superb view down two city streets. We were a little disappointed that the balconies are inaccessible, but we assumed they must be unsafe. Overall, the Hotel Ohla is a fantastic property in a vibrant sector of Barcelona, and I would not hesitate to stay there again."

"We liked staying at this hotel. It was clean and staff were friendly. Rooms were nice and bathrooms clean as well. We stayed in this hotel at the beginning and end of our trip and so experienced two different rooms - while there were some minor differences between the two, nothing major and both were nice and up to date, well cared for. Unfortunately we were not able to do any early check in (they also did not offer to call or come back slightly closer to check-in time in case the room is ready, like some hotels do); making them fairly strict with their check-in time, which is fine, and they did hold our bags for us. Good location in that you are close to restaurants and able to get around but not on a main street where you'll get lots of street noise. Would stay here again!"

"The hotel is beautiful and well located. We included breakfast which had lots of options. Generally facilities were good with ice and water as well as a vending machine. Two issues, the first is minor in that house keeping staff would come and collect towels and clean the room but not provide new towels for several hours so if you returned to the room in the afternoon you had no towels but the more notable is the noise transfer within the hotel. We could here the bath and shower running and the toilet seat/lids being put down in the adjacent room and there were lots of noisy guests later at night, nothing which couldn’t be resolved with some good ear plugs but did cause disrupted sleep for a couple of nights until they were sourced."
