This property is a must, Katya is AMAZING, what a star!! It’s quiet and has an amazing view of the sunrise over the sea - from your hot tub!!! Breakfast in your room, easy parking and out of the high tourist craziness of Fira & Oia but super easy to get to both places - 20 min walk to Fira! Easy access to the trail hike to Oia! Rooms are spacious and comfortable! Even the shower has a view - totally recommend!

The hotel is located on the east view of the Aegean not the Cordillera. It is aging but in good shape overall. Minimal furniture in room and e bathroom is very basic. Room was clean and quiet. Beautiful grounds and setting. Hot tub was extra cost but not working properly. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our time there.

Very nice apartment. Right across from the beach with a beautiful view. Quiet , remote area. A few stores and restaurants nearby. Owner could not be more helpful and pleasant. Very clean and spacious.

Beautiful sunrise. Quiet. Flexible. I recommend ordering Greek omelette with lots of local veggies and cheese. Delicious. It’s half price with free parking and we did all our excursions from here. It is on the other side. No caldera view and sunrise not sunset. When we arrived we had to wait for 25 minutes as she was working in a room. A note “will be back at xx:yy” would be nice.

The continential breakfast is bought to your room it is not good at all. You get one toast one croissant per person. We had 3. You get juice one piece of watermelon 2 melon pieces 3 pieces of meat that didn't taste good. And a few pieces of cheese. I had a little and it hurt my stomach. The room is nice . No ppol.

The property was very clean and the staff were great and friendly. The view is nice especially the sunrise. Breakfast is served at your requested time with no delays. Continental breakfast is included. The property is about 15 minutes downhill walk from all the actions. You may need to get a ride back to the hotel, Definitely would stay there again.

This was a beautiful designed room and property with a beautiful view and relaxing hot tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also very lovely nature plants and trees around the property.

Slimy owners, wrong room and wouldn't do anything
We booked a room with a single large bed and non-smoking but received a room with two twins and that reeked of cigarettes. It turns out that someone who worked there (who personally reeked of cigarettes) had been staying in the room for a month and "didn't notice anything", so they wouldn't do anything about it.

Nice location and comfortable suites. The website is spectacular but the prices in the room don’t match the website. Also, I had non smoking rooms booked but one of the rooms had a horrible smoke smell.

Phaos provided a terrific place to spend our holiday. Giannis is an incredible host. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautiful. The view doesn’t face the caldera but regardless it’s absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast is delivered to the room every morning so you can sit and eat at the table just outside your room enjoying the view. Giannis helps with terrific suggestions on what to do while on the island. We used ATVs to get around the island and this location was very easy to get to all the big sites from. Highly recommend this place!

Convenient location a short stroll from Thira. Has an Eastern aspect which results in lovely, shady afternoons. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, great value for money. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

You have an amazing view of the east coast (not Caldera) of Santorini but it is perfect to see the sunrise and they will bring breakfast to your room so you can enjoy it. Didn't feel like we missed anything not having the Caldera view as we would have never thought to be at our hotel for sunset. Perfect location to easily walk to everything. Just need to cross the street to get to the main walking path. Staff is great very friendly.

Wonderful time, definitely recommend
It was very nice staying at this suite and thw staff definitely made the trip better! They communicated with us before our stay and even offered a sunset cruise, which unfortunately the weather didn’t permit the day of. Malina was super great and friendly, and even remembered that our trip was for my birthday! Location is close to Thira but also the quieter and you get a sunrise view. Would definitely recommend this to everyone and would definitely be staying here again!

We loved out stay at Phaos. We rented a car which made travel to Oia and other areas of the island super easy. The room was very clean and had great views of the sea. We felt very well taken care of by Faye and received helpful advice on great places to eat and things to do/see.

Such a beautiful place!!! Great location with a fantastic view. Faye did our check in. She was very friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the island. The rooms Were very pretty, big space and very clean!!! I definitely recommend staying at this property, you will get to see the most beautiful sunrise!!

Fay was fantastic and very accommodating! The property has beautiful views and is very clean. We came in December so it’s a bit cold on the island. We would recommend more heating sources as we couldn’t get our suite warm enough for our liking.

Nice well maintained units with a good sized bathroom, comfortable bed, lots of room to relax and a great view. Staff are helpful and personable. Mini fridge full of options as well as wine for convenience. Location walkable to Fira (20 minutes). Many amenities available and the hotel dog Sandy, who recently adopted the place, was super cute to hang out with.

Passionate friendly staff, especially the little boss, Federal, made us like at home during our stay. The breakfast was really delicious and in high quality. Having breakfast on balcony with sea view is one of the most romantic memories in our trip. Quiet surroundings, comfy bed, easy communicating and etc. all the aspects are excellent!

The location was great. Easy walk to Fira and it was located in the middle of the island, so easy drive to north or south part of the island. I loved the view from the balcony... Gorgeous sunrise. The hotel had free parking and wifi that was great. What I didn't like was the bathroom. It had such an unpleasant smell. Very strong ammonia scent when we checked in that then turned to a sewage scent. We had to keep the window open in the bathroom and keep the door shut. The picture (when we booked) also showed a/c in the living room, however, our suite only had a/c in the bedroom.
