"Overall the Samsara is a Beautiful resort. Can use Alot of upgrades innthe rooms. Once the upgrades to the rooms are handled, this will definitely be the go to spot in Negril. Close to so much. I would recommend adding some lights at the front entrance, water fall going down the ramp to the rooms. More nightly theme events, maybe. The staff, started off rocky, but later that evening, we were singing ad dancing with each other. Make sure you check out the bartender Tina. AMAZING ALSO, MS JENNIFER at check in Amazing. Be patient that's all. If you can fit towels and washcloths in your bag or buy when you land. You will be fine."

"I thought when I paid for a type of room that I would have a garden view room or ocean view room and that did not happen. Garden view meant that you could see lawn between the buildings. The rest of the view was white brick buildings. I changed rooms a couple times but gave up because it kept getting worse. No views and next to the road with loud traffic noise! So then they ask you to upgrade for $220. No! I wanted what I paid for. The food was always GREAT! The housekeeper and waitresses were awesome. Front Desk staff I thought “gaslighted” me a lot."

"The staff did not know how to use the cash register. They made charges to our room even though we paid cash at the bar and the restaurant. Meaning they charged us twice for the same items. The bill also stated we made purchases from the gift shop, which we did not. We did not notice the charges until we reviewed the itemized bill. We will never stay here again."

"Pay more and go somewhere else ..all inclusive for 2 options of food per meal period no snack bar , you may not like food options I had one lunch period they had hotdogs and fish for lunch as the only options they told me they would allow me to pick something from paid menu since I did not like any of the options for free they reversed the decision then charged me. The guy in front reception should be cleaning has no personality to be handling the front desk, the staff at the bar if you are not white prefer to eat their food or clean rather than to serve you a drink, rooms are not the most clean, you have to pay for a fridge 10 bucks a day even though their options are super limited this should be free, no beach towels had to buy them at the gift shop, limited umbrellas in front of beach which is ridiculous you cannot even enjoy the beach without scavenging for a beach umbrella. No entertainment at all you may get one night with music if you are lucky. When you ask front desk for towels when the cleaning personnel takes towel away they said they do not have none. Bad experience only reason I stood was due to Expedia not wanting to refund. Even when you ask for paid meals some off the staff hesitates and gives you attitude they need a supervisor to supervisor the individuals just hanging around instead of serving clients. The only positive was the beach that’s all this place has going for it even the WiFi is slow."

"Some of my family went on vacation to this property with their friends, so last minute I decided to join them. Huge mistake. Security gate didn't bother to check our names, just waved us in. Front desk was helpful but definitely not friendly. The room was clean but the power master switch only worked sometimes which left us in the dark a lot. The shower tile is old and broken, the bathroom ceiling was ragged. The main lobby was under construction and had leaks everywhere so the entire lobby was wet and slippery. The breakfast buffet is a joke. Food is bland and basic and the staff act like they really dont want to be at work. You have to make reservations for every restaurant ahead of time through the app. The steak house was completely closed so eating options were limited. The restaurants we did try had decent food, but nothing special. Half the staff were friendly, the other half would rather you just leave. The pools were clean, and all of the pool bartenders were friendly and helpful. If you want to eat late good luck. Room service is NOT included, theres an $18 charge for every order. The sports bar is the only free option but staffing is limited and food service is unnecessarily slow. The food is mediocre at best. The beach is very nice with plenty of chairs, the grounds are very well maintained. The poor service, even poorer food selections, and the fact the property looks like it's still recovering from a storm gives the property 1 star."

"Nothing was liked and nothing was good about this resort. Our family left the resort after 1 day due to the lack of hospitality and quality of anything on the resort. Also they did everything in their power to add additional fees room change, keeping room close together all normal request that we requested prior to check in but I would NEVER EVER visit this resort again. Supposedly we are supposed to get refunded but I highly doubt they will complete the refund process. STAY AWAY or visit at your own risk!"
