I liked the place..It was brand new. I mean, I was the first person to sit at the bar for a cocktail...THAT NEW...Bed was comfortable. The room was nice. Clean..The personnel were SO very nice. I mean like in-laws that like you...How rare is that!! ))..They did not have a "do not disturb sign' so they made one for me.. The Room had a great a/c..Brand new..I had hot water in the sink as well as the shower...Rare in the Philippines.
But..as new goes, so do the hurdles. The owner(s) of this place finished one side of the entire structure..Then opened it.. WHILE construction goes on, right across the hall...I mean the other half of the entire poured concrete structure...is under construction..so open to the elements..These were old rice patty fields, filled in to develop. There is a new International Airport going in nearby. A smart move by the owner/developer..but that's his deal..I am a paying customer..the open side of the hotel let the mosquitos come on in..flies too..open your door into th hallway and the little blood suckers come on in..they find you..at the desk, in the bathroom or at nite..The fly's had a bit more discretion and made their way to the restaurant..The food there was great..Unreal 3 mushroom soup..great chef..Good service. This is a really good place to eat..unless you have a car to wander, you have to eat here. There are no taxis in this town. Lots of tricycle type tuk tuks as the Thai call them..DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL WITHOUT WHEELS..You will regret it
