It was at the end on the road, we were glad to have safe harbor. The layout of the apartment rooms was large and a bit strange, like perhaps converted from an owners residence.

Bit OTT on the mask wearing and parking signs with cones everywhere. Felt like a goldfish in this place, absolutely no privacy at all, no net curtains or blinds so the person from the next unit parked outside our window and could look straight in as could the people from the block opposite. Very little in the way of consumables and quite honestly pretty poor for one of the most expensive places we stayed at. Certainly not much river to be seen. Not sure what other accommodation is like in Haast but wouldn't recommend this place.

A nice clean property with friendly staff. The room was basic with few amenities but you had full use of a camp kitchen which had everything you could need. There was also a communal games and tv lounge you had full use of.

We had an upstairs unit with a very nice view. We arrived in a downpour and it was lovely to sit inside, be dry and watch the rain. All the camp sites filled up and lots of people were enjoying the shared inside spaces. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very well run establishment.

Well set up, great location and friendly staff. Suited us perfectly as a family of 5 for an overnight stop on our way through Haast. Great games room, huge communal kitchen space and lovely people!

We just needed a place to stay the night and worked out great. Even had some silverware and bowls. The heated blankets were awesome. Even had a after hours key pick up. Great location off the road.

Nice motel in Haast
Surprisingly nice motel in Haast considering there are no other options for miles. The room is in good condition. 10% discount at nearby restaurant when you check in is a nice bonus.

Spacious, clean and although our room didn’t have cooking options we could have upgraded to one that had. There was a place to eat 5 minutes drive up the road. Shower pressure was great..comfy bed.
