Everything was good.
Room was spacious, clean, staffs were kind and helpful, location is fantastic, very tasty breakfast.
At the time of check-out the staff asked me to choose currency, then I chose USD because it will be more convenient for me for calculation. I did not check the exact exchange rate and the staff never explained about disadvantage for the case I choose US$ instead of Japanese Yen.
After came back to home I found something is wrong. They added 3.5% and even the actual invoice from credit card company shows another increment.
I asked them to change payment currency back to Japanese Yen just after two days from payment but the hotel refused my request.
Then I felt I was fool and anger. Is this the hotel's intension to make the guest fool and angry?
I hope no more guest will have same experience.
The hotel must not ask to the guest for choosing payment currency unless otherwise the guest asks, or at least they must explain about the disadvantage of choosing US$ before payment is finished.
This makes the guest to feel cheated.
