"If you would like to get out of the hustle and bustle of town then this hostel is great. It's located out of the CBD and it will take you a tram ride to get there. There isn't too much to do around the area beside some casual walks, the onsen and close distance to Hakodate Mountain. Comfortable for those who are travelling on a budget. "

"Bed blanket was comfy and warm. Warmer functional and good in room. Location is stonethrow away from Shiden (city tram). Short 7 minute walk to the morning market. We wanted to check in around 4 pm. But reception was away. There's a phone and number you can call with. But it was still a 10-15 minute wait for us."

"This is by far the nicest and most comfortable place we have stayed. The gentleman at the front helped us out hugely when our credit card was frozen. The room was freshly renovated and clean. Super comfortable beds with a small kitchen was great as we usually make our own breakfast. It’s walkable to restaurants and grocery stores. Train was a 5 minute walk as was the streetcar. I’d stay here anytime. "
