The room was compact but spotless and well-organised, with a comfy single bed, en-suite bathroom, TV, and a side cabinet stocked with tea, coffee, and biscuitsโsuch a thoughtful touch. It had been a long time since Iโd slept in a single bed, but it was surprisingly comfortable and perfect for a good nightโs rest. Iโd definitely stay again and would recommend it to other travellers looking for a clean, cosy spot with all the essentials.

"Room was clean, tidy, functional and had sufficient features. The balcony was a great addition. The view over the town was super. It overlooks the street so accept there will be town noise on a Friday./Saturday night. Does mean it is superbly situated for city exploits.
Only negative was parking. It was a busy weekend and the assigned car-park had only once space."

Just a tip (and nothing to do with the hotel) if you book a taxi at the airport from the only taxi supplier to the hotel and back , itโs going to cost best part of ยฃ50!

"I love this place! Itโs beautifully peaceful, but for one night when they had a wedding with music well past 23:00. Still, worth it to stay here right by the water. They have the best views Iโve found in Cambridge. The high tea offering sadly is only a teapot with a tea bag (which makes the American high tea Iโve experienced far better!) but the sandwiches and pastries are certainly tasty."
