"I didn't receive any instructions for self check in until I called the letting agent. The property is dark and dingy. It smelled damp and was cluttered with unnecessary furniture (large sofa foot stool, 4 armchairs, 4chairs, fridge freezer & non working fridge, for a double room). The decor is very worn with signs of damage. The carpets are stained. The external area was very overgrown with weeds. The TV remote didn't work and there was no TV ariel connected. "Excellent location, right in the heart of Lavenham, stands this beautiful, authentic cottage. Perfect accommodation for a family or two couples as there are two toilets and two well resourced communal living. The kitchen and laundry room were very well equipped and made our stay very comfy. The only area for improvement was the check-out time of 10:00 am on a Sunday morning (with a van load of cleaners eating outside to enter the property) this made our departure feel rushed. "
