Amazing hotel in a fabulous location, overlooking the stunning lake. Staff could not do more. If you turn right out of the hotel, and then right again, walk to the end of the road and you’ll find lots of local restaurants and shops. Lovely little bar over the road on the edge of the lake. Would definitely recommend.

The Meridien is a very clean, modern place with a beautiful views of the Aussenalster in Hamburg. The pool and spa are great, and the breakfast and bar are fantastic, but pricey.

The shower floor is level with the bathroom floor and has no door so it flooded all the time. Also there does not seem to be any air conditioning / fan in the room.

Brilliant hotel. Views were amazing ! Breakfast was great. Shame we didn’t get to eat in the restaurant with it being fully booked. Spa nice and relaxing. Room service was good. Bed not too comfortable. Pillows need refreshing and headboard collected a lot of dust. Extractor not working in bathroom and not sure how to use air con / heating Would go again

We were very happy with pretty much everything. The location is not to be beaten, our suite had a spectacular view. We rented bicycles to ride around the Alster lake. The area is lively, cosmopolitan and offers museums and great restaurants as well as close proximity to main station. The staff was very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the pool as well as the restaurant in the panorama restaurant. We also went to the rooftop bar, which was fun.

This hotel is exceptional. My family really enjoyed everything about this hotel and our experience in staying here. The hotel staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The area around the hotel has many restaurants and shopping, and we were able to find something to eat that our family enjoyed. I would highly recommend staying here again. The breakfast buffet was superb and so worth the price we paid.

Very well located and spotless hotel. Michelin restaurant, swimming pool on premises, immense breakfast buffet, etc. Despite the deluxe feel it is very reasonably priced.

Great location if you get a view to The Alster Lake. Room rather dated and an ever slow front desk service. The check in was really slow and directions to the on-site parking misleading and we had to do a long queue with our luggage twice.

Wonderful hotel to pamper yourself a bit
Wonderful hotel at a great location. Room seems a wee worn out for this price range (e.g. full floor carpets with stains, the shower a bit 80s style) but that didn’t disturbe us too much. Absolutely great breakfast, with magnificent view, but unfortunately occassionally out of certain items in the buffet, which again at this level is bit unusual. Only real negative comment is that the receptionist made (for pre-paid bookind) a totally unnecessary 10 x pre-authorization on our credit card by mistake (admitted it too), but which was not cleared until a week after a stay, and not compensated in any way. But overall very friendly service, and feels very much alike with the Le Méridien experiences I have mainly from far east locations.
